Chess lessons in schools

Atlas Échecs offers introductory chess lessons and workshops in schools: as after-school activities, in the classroom or during professional development days. Programs are available to elementary and secondary schools.

Whether it is a one-time activity or a series of lessons throughout the year, our teachers adapt their instruction to the students’ age and level, as well as the way each school operates.

Chess is an excellent problem-solving tool. It encourages careful thought and can support concentration, memory, creativity and self-confidence. Organization, perseverance, respect and the pleasure of playing guide our activities.
